How coaching can help uncover your strengths

In coaching sessions, I often notice a striking gap between how clients see themselves and how others perceive them. What’s even more surprising is how frequently clients are unaware of their own strengths—the very traits that could unlock their full potential.

How powerful could it be to truly recognize and leverage your strengths?

When we’re disconnected from our strengths, it can subtly erode our self-esteem. And that, in turn, affects our confidence—the way we show up to others. Confidence, unlike competence, is visible. It's what others respond to, yet it doesn't always align with how skilled or capable someone truly is.

This is why highly competent individuals can sometimes feel confused or frustrated when things don’t go their way. It’s not a reflection of their ability, but of how they’re being perceived—and how they perceive themselves.

Uncovering and owning our strengths isn't just affirming—it's transformative. It bridges the gap between inner potential and outward presence.
